The killing of George Floyd is not a racial issue

It's a police brutality issue.

In 2020 so far, 42 white people, 31 black people, 13 Hispanic people, 3 of other origin and 139 people of unknown origin have been killed by police officers.

Now, a majority of these killings are justified as in most of these people threatened the cops with weapons etc. but there is a small percentage of this group that were unjustly killed by a cop.

The goal should be no person in America be killed unjustly at the hands of a cop right? But, it's like suicide, we can say the goal is to reduce suicides to 0 but that isn't realistic. Just like suicide, the goal is to reduce unjust killings of people by cops to 0 but that isn't realistic for a myriad of reasons but we can still try.

My point is that any person of any race that dies unjustly at the hands of a police officer deserves justice and we should be angry. So, why is this a black thing? If a Hispanic person is unjustly killed by a cop, we should be equally angry too.

Black people lose their credibility when they make it about race. It's about the small percentage of people of all races killed by police officers. That's what it's about.

However, this is a total failure of leadership in every way imaginable. The city has a black police chief who keeps this clown on the force. Virtually every politician in the state are Democrats. The cop was a bad actor who will get what he deserves but we have a large segment of our population that seeks mob justice and we cannot tolerate this one bit. This country is not racist and to say otherwise is ignorant. Every person in this country has opportunity to achieve whatever that persons want. I would like to see people consider that the decisions that they make in life have consequences. If you drop out of school, take drugs, join gangs, commit crimes, have children out of wedlock, act like gangsters, and have no respect for the rule of law, you probably will not be a successful member of society. No one wants to talk about how these riots took place in so many cities run by liberals who pay lip service to think they are helping minorities but really arent.

But the only crimes that catch the national spotlight and are used to enrage people are black on white. Of all the crimes committed by the demographics I listed, I'd bet that white on black are the fewest crimes of them all, but they get all the attention because the media's target audience swallows without reflux.

The 243 white on black murders are HATE CRIMES

All the other murders must be crimes of passion or something
